★ ริมทางหลวงเชียงราย–เชียงใหม่ กม. 129 ข้างโรงพยาบาลแม่สรวย — ตำนานว่าเมื่อสมเด็จพระนเรศวรมหาราชยกทัพไปเมืองหาง ได้ทรงหยุดพักทัพ ณ แม่สรวย ทุกวันที่ 18 มกราคม ชาวอำเภอจึงจัดพิธีบวงสรวงถวายสักการะ โดยมีรูปช้างศึกใหญ่สองเชือกยืนเฝ้าศาล · Beside the Chiang Rai–Chiang Mai road at km 129, next to Mae Suai Hospital. Tradition holds that King Naresuan rested his army here on the march toward Mueang Hang; every 18 January the district holds a ceremony in his honour, watched over by two great war-elephant statues.
