So we measured: from each of the 11,843 places in this directory, the median distance to the nearest branch is 248 metres — three-quarters of everything here is within half a kilometre of one.

From the moat centre that is about 14 branches; the frame-edge median is about 3. (Nearest distance, for the record: median 182 m in the moat, 457 m at the edge.) Drawn over streets from the site's own road crawl at ~55 m resolution. The frame is the crawled road area — it reaches neither Doi Suthep nor San Kamphaeng; the edge labels say how far each remains. A branch missing from OpenStreetMap makes its area look thinner than it is.

Branches come from the brand tag in OpenStreetMap. The statistics are measured from the places in this catalog, which is collected most densely in town — so they describe the city, not the whole of both provinces. The map is drawn from the distance field of the branch positions directly, every point in frame, not only catalogued places. Branches are not measured against each other. Recomputed every build.
